Skipping stones & Touch twin markers

Hello to all,

Again, here are some holiday cards. Just thinking that I wasn't good at making Christmas cards in advance or even much on time for it this year. I need to commit to at least one a week, that could make a serious stash when it comes around again...food for thought.

'Till then, this is a card I made for Skipping Stones designs sketch #108 and Touch Twin Markers and more color challenges

I also made this cute Christmas in Lavender & Grey card with Beccy's precious image called Mum's Coat at Beccy's Place.

Wishing you a beautiful holiday season!

LATE CHRISTMAS CARDS

Here are a couple of late Christmas cards I made for sweet little girls I know. One lives close and the other one is far away. I just love the sketch I used inspired from Vicky's card.

The image here is from Crafty Sentiments and her name is Blitz. I just love playing with her. I added some sparkleon the oute and some inner lines as I was inspired by this beautiful sparkly snowman I saw this morning on Sammibug's blog. She is one of Party Time Tuesdays Top VIP's card.
I also entered my card in this week's Color challenge on SCS...well it is in my favorite colors of blue! This of course, is one of my faves from Heather Ellis's PI. It's a stamp set from My favorite things - Flurry of love. The papers are DCWV - The Winter Combo and the sketch is from Vicky inspired by a cool sketch I can't find now on her blog.

I want to wish you a happy new year. Love, health and prosperity!
:)Peggy

Midnight madness poinsettia & more...

Scroll down for the crafty creations challenge post

Good evening to all, I just made these cards today because my hairdresser needed a few more special cards. I used the Midnight madness sketch for the first one.

This one is for the Anything goes challenge and  Paperminutes, which asked for alot of white and some color.
I used the mojo monday sketch a bit loosely here! And used Elisabeth O.Dulemba's coloring page image Santa.
And here I used Deena's cute Snowman with a blank sign.

And on this one, I used this fun sketch from Stars & Stamps and Mo Manning's Paul texting image for a masculine birthday. This card is also entered in SCS's color challenge.
I really hope you enjoyed theses, I had a real good time playing with the papers, images and different sketches. 'night everyone. Thank you for stopping by. :)Peggy

Crafty Creations Challenge #148- Embossing & Glitter

Good day to all, I am so happy to have played along wit our team at Crafty Creations Challenge this week because Deena is hosting and she is asking we play with embossing; be it dry or heat and add some glitter too! I used my favorite embossing folder swirls along with carrara marble, crystal fine, both from Martha stewart for my snow effects. Then added the silver sparkling rub on snowflakes from magenta, plus a silvery sparkly SU hardware embellishment recieved from Terri!

This week Deena is sponsoring with 3 free digital images to the winner from her own shop...

Thank you so much for stopping by!

MOJO ESKIMOS

Hello to all,

It looks like we are having bits of snow today. We are looking at a few centimers of accumulation...yeah, well, I will take all the snow I can get. :) It's been a while since I played Mojo Monday and by the number  218 of the sketch...it's been longer than I thought. So I took out Mo Manning's Siku and Shiya to accompany my little playtime yesterday. Took me all day as I wasn't in my best disposition...lack of sleep. Missed out on my playdate with Deena (booh ooh oooh). But I am much better today.

Also used Mary's tutorial for a rosette snowflake. Loved it but did not have that cool punch she has. :) Thank you!
I had to show you what I did on wednesday though, I babysat little Alice and we had a beautiful time together. She is sooo precious. She is a whole 2 and a half month on these pics. Aaaaaaaaaah...she is growing so fast.

Squigglefly #127- Based on a song

Hello everyone,

Today is monday and Heather my chief at Squigglefly, has thought up of this challenge for our Christmas card stack. YAY! How about making a card or project  with a sentiment based on a song- I chose Feliz Navidad, first because I love the Spanish language and Jose Feliciano.  If you click on the link you will find a fun video with the lyrics to it to put you in the Christmas spirit if you aren't already. I chose this Here we come a carolling from Lynne Stansbery.

My sketch is from Papercraft Star #73. Cool look huh!

Hope you join us and play for a chance to win great prizes.
